Welcome to Coble Cottage...

Winner of the '2009 Wansbeck Business Award for Tourism', Coble Cottage is situated midway between Alnwick Garden and Newcastle City Centre and is less than 100 metres from a sandy beach. The cottage showcases a variety of artworks by local artists and provides an ideal base from which to explore both Northumberland and Tyneside. The cottage can accommodate up to four guests in one double and two single bedrooms. It is centrally heated throughout and has a constant supply of hot water. Both shops and public transport can be found within 100 metres and there is a links golf course within 200 metres.

The cottage sits at the 'fisher' end of the village just behind the oldest working lifeboat station in the country and the boatyard, which houses some of the UK's few remaining traditional fishing cobles. The UK's first permanent offshore sculpture, 'Couple' by Sean Henry can be seen in the bay.
