Coble Cottage Facilities
Coble Cottage is a mid terrace towards the end of the main street of the village and within 100 yards of the sandy beach. There is on road parking outside the cottage.
The front door gives access to a small lobby with coat hooks from where an internal door leads into a spacious lounge containing a comfortable leather suite with a three seater sofa and two reclining leather chairs. Double doors lead into the dining area containing a dining table and six chairs. A small wall mounted TV with terrestial channels is also provided.
The well equipped newly fitted kitchen has ample storage and contains washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker with gas hob and a fridge freezer. You will find sufficient crockery, cutlery, glass and cookware for your needs. From the kitchen an external door opens onto three steps leading down to a small enclosed outdoor area with seating and container plants.
Upstairs there are one double and two single bedrooms plus a fully tiled bathroom with corner bath and walk in shower.
The main bedroom contains a king sized bed. It has a large built in wardrobe. Bedside tables and lamps are provided. The room also contains a full length mirror and tall chest of drawers with lift up mirror and tray for dressing table accessories. There is a hairdryer with socket nearby.
Bedroom two has a single bed and a large built in wardrobe with shelving. A bedside table and lamp are provided. A pine shelving unit with mirror over provides dressing table space.
Bedroom three is compact with limited storage. This however is compensated for by the sea views as this bedroom overlooks the Lifeboat station with the sea beyond. A wardrobe, bedside table with drawers and bedside lamp are provided.
The spacious bathroom has a corner bath, walk in shower, washbasin and WC. There is ample space for towels and toiletries for up to four people.
Outside at the rear is a small enclosed area with seating and container plants.
The cottage is centrally heated throughout and constant hot water is available via the combi boiler. Bedding, bed linen and towels (one hand and one bath per person) are included at no extra charge.
Throughout the cottage you will find items of original artwork produced by artists living in the village. Many of these are for sale and a catalogue giving details and information about the artists is available.
Information for guests with disabilities: Coble Cottage is a two storey terraced cottage. There is a threshold at the front door. Three steps with a handrail outside the back door lead to a small, sloping enclosed patio area. There is a small step outside the rear gate.
The toilet and bathroom are on the first floor accessed by a flight of stairs with a handrail. The free standing shower cubicle is accessed by a small step. There is a corner bath and low level WC.
The emergency fire escape route from the first floor is via an opening window in the third bedroom leading onto a flat roof.
